SASSA is going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regard to the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The here services place established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
